2026 Book Club Reads!

Welcome to "A Fleeting Thought", a blog by The Willow Branch Books, where I post relatively short and to the point book reviews and thoughts!

Here is the working list of all 12 books we read as a book club in 2026. I can't believe it's year two of book club! Some amazing friendships have been made.

I focus on indie/women/BIPOC authors and will include how each book falls under those categories with a "Tags" line.

"What My Bones Know" by Stephanie Foo

We started the year off with a little introspection. This book prompted great discussion and we had a lot of people able to give insight on how their life shaped their interpretation of the book.

Genre: YA Dystopian

This book highlighted what sisterhood can mean when under tension and how we can come out better and make small changes to improve the world around us.
